On May 5, 2009 ID-Vault will launch Gluu, an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) platform to help organizations implement the trust relationships inherent in doing business. Gluu is designed to make it quicker and easier for organizations to federate. After registering and integrating with Gluu, an organization can join existing Trust Networks, or create their own Trust Networks to which they can invite other organizations.

The most immediate tangible benefit to participant members is interdomain SSO, using SAML. A second key feature is the Gluu Identity Commons, where companies and end users can specify complex rules to control the visibility of people within their organization. Most importantly, Gluu provides a single corporate and identity exchange venue, streamlining and accelerating the growth of federated B2B communities.
